After two earlier attempts to sell our condominium in Ballard, we were contacted by David who asked if we were still interested in selling. We said yes, but were skeptical about selling because of pricing issues with condominiums. We had some very cordial conversations with David and became convince

d that we could sell the property if we priced it to fit the market. David spent considerable time compiling data relative to condo size, location and other property sales. David was our broker for both buying our new house and selling our old house. The Seattle market at the time was notoriously crazy, with many all-cash offers (which we couldn't do). He always remained patient and clear-headed despite it all, and was able to give us a bigger-picture perspective due to his experience and research. His past experience as a builder gives him a great perspective on the construction aspect of things. He was also available anytime we wanted to see something new or just talk.

Now we are in a new home that we love! The market started cooling off right as the time came for us to sell, but again he was able to remind us that this was a normalization, and helped us remain calm through it all. He spent a lot of time at our open houses, making sure that our house was presented well. Our house received an all-cash offer, which we accepted, and we were able to have the money in the bank just a few weeks later.

Thanks to David we can relax and enjoy our new home!

"Selling a home from 3,000 miles away seemed a daunting task until we talked to David Pitney. In the last 16 years we’ve worked with several REALTORS® and this was far and away the best working relationship and the best outcome we have experienced. The entire process, from deciding to sell to closing was completely seamless. As we were not present for any of the process, we had to trust that David was on top of everything and in fact he was. He was always available by email or phone, and kept us up to date, literally, sometimes hour-by-hour. After he sent us photos of the unit, we utilized his recommendations for demolition of a wall, painters, carpeting, and cleaning services to get our home sale-ready and each vendor recommended was efficient and professional. In fact, we had multiple parties interested in buying our place after just the first open house! Finally, from the home inspection to escrow, to settlement, David took the responsibly for all the details so we didn’t have to. We were able to close from our home almost 3,000 miles away without a hitch. We were 100% pleased with our experience and it couldn’t have been easier.
